What would you do if the spouse of your youth left you for another? What if that person divorced you and had a child with the new spouse? Would you wait or would you walk? Michael Armstrong not only decided that “walking” was out of the question, he made the decision to wait for his bride…for as long as it took to reconcile. After thirteen years “divorced,” he and the love of his life Edith reconciled and have been happily remarried for the last eighteen years. Listen to this heart-tugging story and be touched by the great humility, childlike faith and deep trust in the Lord that gave one simple man the strength to Stand for Love. |

I just listened to this amazing testimony by Michael Armstrong and although I've heard it before I can attest to the validity of it's contents. I worked with Michael for many years while he was divorced from his wife and true to what he stated he never gave up on God's ability to restore his broken marriage and bring he and his wife together again! I rejoiced the day they were remarried and marveled at God's power. Michael never gave up on God and stayed true to his vows in both cases. God rewarded him for his faithfulness and I thank God that he allowed me to be able to witness this first hand. God was true to his word and to his promises and to him be the glory! May God continue to bless Michael and his beautiful family.
