During her years as a Washington, D.C. homicide detective, Rita McCoy has seen some inconceivable things that would have shaken most others to the core. On the job, she stepped around countless black corpses, one being that of a baby microwaved by her crack-addicted mother.

One image she may never shake is that of her own child being sucked from her body into a glass canister during the abortion she still regrets having because the "boy" who fathered it wasn't ready for another child.

"We were killing ourselves," McCoy said. In this interview she discusses the tragic aftereffects on her spirit, why she has stated, “BLM is an offense to me,” how she survived intact by the grace of God alone, and how her love of Jesus Christ keeps her inspired and fueled in her life's missions and more. She attributes none of the chaos she witnessed or experienced to racism but rather to sin, and she attests that President Trump is not a racist. Warning: This was a very graphic and candid conversation.
