Ronald Jackson and Christine Bacon stand in front of the WKQA wall dressed in black and white.
Guest Ronald Jackson and host Christine Bacon did not intentionally dress in black and white for this conversation on racism. But it worked!
Preacher Ronald Jackson of "Out of the Box Ministries" joins Dr. Christine for her series on continuing the conversations on racism in America by bringing in a spiritual component: racism is bad. Anything bad comes from the devil. It opposes God's will and yet it must still be dealt with in the natural in order to be fixed. Listen in to another broadcast which seeks to give voice to both Black and White voices. The conversations must continue.

What profession can be more difficult than that of one of America's elite military forces--the Navy SEALS? How about being the first African American within that force at a time when being Black itself was a daily struggle in a world that still segregated its Blacks from its Whites? Meet Master Chief (Ret) Bill Goines, the one man who can answer those questions because he lived it. Enjoy this great conversation with one of America's finest as he details his life before, during and after his time as a Navy SEAL--a career he would do all over again if he were able. Guest Marc Little, Esq is also a pastor who is known from the "famous" photo of him and others praying over President Trump in the Oval Office. **For more information on or to contact Mr. Little, click on image.
The photo of him and numerous other Black Americans praying over President Trump in the Oval Office went viral and was attacked relentlessly by the media and others. He says "President Trump is the best president  since Abraham Lincoln" and he's been persecuted for it. Meet Marc Little: pro-life, preacher, lawyer, Black and Republican. Passionate about relationship over apology, he's focused on getting Americans (in particular Black Americans) to return to traditional family values, vote based on biblical principles, and love like it's all you have. Listen in and be inspired unlike ever before. It's a powerful hour of insights.

Dr. Christine Bacon continues her conversation with guests from both sides of the "population": the majority and the minority. Nothing can heal our nation's current issues better than continued conversations directed at enlightening minds and changing hearts. No matter where one stands on the issue of racism, the truth remains that our nation's Black brothers and sisters believe it exists and experience it on a daily basis. So when one member of the body is hurting, the entire body is hurting and the only way to ease the pain is to find the wound in order to next find and apply the medicine. Listen in as we continue this engaging and eye-opening conversation that seeks to do just that. You may leave feeling a bit less comfortable or a bit more relieved. Either way, you'll leave changed.

America is experiencing some unprecedented events in the history of its existence as a nation. Protests and riots over race relationships have dominated our nation's cities as well as the media coverage reporting it. We are in a turning point and how we communicate with one another at this important juncture will determine the direction of all future generations of any color for decades to come. America is a great nation whose basic humanity is good and whose majority (both Black and White) seeks to love another and work together to heal our nation. But to do that we must seek first to understand those minority populations whose voices have remained unheard for far too long. As a famous person once said, "If part of the body is hurt, the whole body hurts." America is hurting. Listen in to this very real and raw conversation between some of America's greatest citizens in order to hear what's been shouted from the rooftops but had not yet been heard...until now. It'll open your eyes and hopefully your heart too, and, if we're lucky, it'll help you to see life in America from a different set of eyes than your own.
